Timing & Market Considerations
The fiscal year in the Netherlands follows the calendar year. Annual bonuses for executives are also paid at the end of the year, making the latter half of the year the best time to undertake executive searches. Filling high-level roles can take anywhere from three to six months.
Currently employed candidates may be required to give their employers between one and six months’ notice of resignation. They may, however, be able to make settlement agreements to pay their employers in lieu of giving notice if their employers agree. You may also need to provide one or two months for international executives to relocate to the Netherlands.
Fee Models & Engagement Options
