It started with a problem no one was solving
In November 2018, Antoine and Pierre — with five teammates — set out to fix global hiring. Opening a legal entity in every country you wanted to hire in cost a fortune, took months, and didn’t scale. So they built the alternative: one platform to recruit, employ, and pay talent anywhere, with compliance handled from day one.
Formerly Horizons. In 2026 we became RemotePeople — a name that says exactly what we do: we help companies build teams of remote people, anywhere in the world.
Why we exist: the best talent doesn’t live in one country. We build the employment infrastructure — owned entities, local payroll, in-country compliance expertise — that lets any company hire that talent without friction, and without risk.
