Though we’ve found some suggestions that G-P charges a 15% fee on top of the salary of every employee, this hasn’t been confirmed and may also not include extra fees for setup, onboarding, and more. In contrast, Remote charges a flat service fee per employee, starting at $599/month, with no additional fees.

Another crucial difference is the way that these two competitors offer their services. They share a very similar list of services that includes payroll, benefits, EOR, contractor payments, HR consultation, and employee relocation. However, Remote generally offers these benefits in three different packages (EOR, payroll, or contractor packages). G-P offers five different packages with different levels of support from both human advisors and its AI tool, Gia. Remote offers payment for contractors in their local currencies through bank transfers or Wise transfers in their currencies of choice.
